Birr Outreach 17th August 2024

𝐈𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫, 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 – as we began our outreach pressing into the presence of God. Our custom for all outreaches is that they are backed by prayer – we had our daily 10 am prayer meetings, which then concluded on Friday evening with our international Zoom prayer meeting - and this is where the battle is done. We have come to experience when we step onto the street, we enter a victory that has already been won on our behalf and Saturday was no exception.

So many personal one on one encounters took place, people were ministered to on a deep level and many needs were prayed for and some were even led in prayer to the Lord.

A young Muslim man after being shown from the 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧 (𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝟑 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝟒𝟓) 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐡, was asked what does Messiah mean? – “𝙄 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙙,” “𝙡𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙨𝙠 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙜𝙡𝙚” came the response – this is what Google states; 𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙝 = 𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙧. After realising the Quran pointed to Jesus as Saviour and Deliverer, the young man was asked how you feel now? His reply came back that he was confused and needed to carry out further research.

𝐀𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐞 – 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝!

Another lady whose family had been devastated by drug addiction met one of the team on the street and in conversation said she had just traveled from Dublin crying all the way to Birr and was calling out to God for help. As she parked her car in Birr town centre, one of the team heading to talk to someone else felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit to change direction and talk to her – immediately the sense this was a divine encounter became clear.

So many coincidences – “God incidences” became apparent through conversation with her, and the lady exclaimed “𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨” – God does hear and answer prayer, and in many cases, God uses people to be an answer to prayer, if we had never purposed in our heart to be involved in outreach in Birr these and many other encounters would never have happened. It is in our positioning ourselves for God to use that miracles and salvation’s take place, the Apostle Paul wrote, “𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩.” He also wrote, “𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝘼𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙧’𝙨 (𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨) 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙪𝙨. 𝙒𝙚 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛: 𝘽𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙤𝙙.”

Twenty-three Spirit Filled Christians were out in Birr town square today as “sent ones” bringing good news and just being available for God to use in people’s lives.

We had so many other conversations, and many seed were planted, the local church were encouraged and enthused in the work of the Lord, and committed to establish consistent outreach on the streets of Birr – this is the very heart of Outreach Ireland to be a source of encouragement to the local church – We can achieve much more together!
