𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟒𝟑:𝟏𝟖 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝟏𝟗 𝐬𝐚𝐲’𝐬

“𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒆𝒘. 𝑺𝒆𝒆, 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒖𝒏! 𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒊𝒕?”

As we gathered for prayer there was a sense that God was moving in a unique way, and during worship the ladies in the group began to gather around the Methodist church leader to minister and pray – the Holy Spirit moved in such a powerful way that the sense - this was “Holy Ground” and God wanted to show His favour filled the atmosphere.

Out of this place of prayer and worship twenty-four spirit filled, bible believing, born again Christians went out to the streets of Mountmellick – with one purpose, to proclaim God’s love.

Several people were led in prayers of repentance after hearing our real-life stories, and that God has the power to change your life. Some however were not ready to take this step but allowed us to pray with them, and in this place of prayer were touched deeply by the Spirit of God.

One such man acknowledging he felt God’s presence stated, “𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆.”

Each event is different, and every encounter with a person is also different but the message remains the same “𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 – 𝐇𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐨𝐧.”

Our trip to Mountmellick was the start of something new, and we plan to return in September – there is one thing for sure that whether a person accepts God’s love and message for salvation or not, once this message knocks on the door of the heart a person can never be the same again. Seeds were sown and God’s love was planted in many hearts.
