Navan Outreach 29th June 24

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲!

The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 12 “𝒎𝒚 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒖𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔”, that is God’s power is perfected in our weakness- it was from his own personal experience of God that Paul was able to make this statement.

Yesterday some of us were carrying illness ranging from flu’s, cancers, back injuries ………… but in this place of weakness we pressed into God for our local community, as is our custom we spent 2 hours in prayer and worship before hitting the streets – the sense of God’s presence was so tangible you could almost grab hold of it with your hand.

Taking this atmosphere out onto the street immediately as we arrived the 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤; two young men came walking by both undergoing treatment for drug addiction surrendered their hearts to the Lord – God’s Spirit touched them in a deep way.

Another young man with his daughter made this statement; “𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒔, 𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔” – surrendered his heart to the Lord

In outreach Ireland the work that we do nationally is rooted within the local church, and the consistent commitment of responsibility to our local communities – 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬.

Another woman and her daughter spoke about horrible things which had been said to her through her life, and how they had affected her self-image.

Both were ministered to deeply by the team, and as the young woman was prayed with the 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 – both ladies surrendered their hearts to the Lord

𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 – many more were prayed with, encouraged, and helped – the gospel message was preached, and the angels in heaven rejoiced.

At the end of the day, we sat for a while allowing the worship music to play and the sense of God’s presence on the street was phenomenal, still many conversations taking place. The pictures in this post give a small window into what was a most spectacular day, and 𝐰𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐦.

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐈𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡.
